Scammer | Beware of user Ya$ui#1056 | 1,7k EUR Scammed

The following post is about the user Ya$ui#1056 (483762282434658316) on Discord.

He scammed 1,7k EUR in BTC from me.

 

 

 

 

So, how did he do it?

 

2 days ago he added me on Discord stating that he wanted to exchange PayPal to BTC which was good with me. I told him that we can do the exchange tomorrow.

On the next day, he said I should add Liars (cio Staff and MM) on Discord, so we can do the trade over him, which I was totally fine with.

He then created a Discord group with me, him and the real Liars (Which wasn't online at that time). As I wasn't at home I was online on my phone and did the chatting over there.

After some time passed, I got a message from "Forehosing" (Liars Discord name) in the chat, saying that he is ready for the trade now and I should send the BTC to his addy.

As I checked before that the real "Firehosing" was in the groupchat, I didn't re-check, and that was the mistake.

 

After I sent the BTC, provided TxID and everything, again some time passed. Then he said the following:

 

"i scammed you bro

you need to watch who i add to the group
need to make the group youtself
because what happened was i added someone to the group chat and then nobody else was able to see the members list"

and closed the group chat (or kicked me idk).

 

After I asked him how he did it, cause I was curious he said the following:

 

"when youre on mobile it hides it

you didnt notice cause it was hidden
and you can leave without notifying now
discord shouldnt have added that
texted from the fake acc
thts why group name was changed usually isnt"

 

So, I guess this is the exact same method which Lucas described in his thread here: Beware of this scam [MUST READ]

 

 

Now I also know about this scam...

Just wanted to warn you about this user. I guess he isn't completely unknown as his

Discord account was already made back in 2018 and we also had some Mutual Friends on Discord.

Edit: Forgot to mention that in the whole time of this process the real Liars was offline on Discord, so its not his fault in any way!

What he said is a lie, he did not add somebody to the chat, he just changed his name, then sent the message and changed his name back at the same time (nearly same second) and then changed the chat name which causes the message to look as if the other person had sent it (as explained in my thread) here is a more detailed video showing what it looks like: https://gyazo.com/f0...38ba9b907240ff1

Ahh now I understand the thing with the group name change. But tbh, I didnt see him changing the name of the group.
