Avoid sending money to Israel Paypal accounts.

Just called Paypal after my PP got softlocked (can't send money to anyone).
Dude was new, didn't even do a verification if it was me (i call with them on almost a monthly base and i always have to tell them my full name + last 4 digits of the card attached to the PP), and the convo went like this:

TimoKL: Yeah hey i can't send any payments to anyone.
PP: Ehm let me see... You sent a recent payment to someone from Israel, correct?
TimoKL: Yeah i tried but it didn't work, gave me some error.
PP: Yeah don't do that, 50% of the time someone sends money to an account from Israel it gets flagged and auto-locked, just don't send money to people from Israel and you are good.

They never tell info about what the system detects so this could be helpful to users who run stealth accounts and aren't able to call PP.
Avoid Israel PP accounts.

Maybe it's only when you are from Europa or something, but this is literally what they told me.
I'm business verified with real info and real docs.

I also got soft locked sometimes. (thanks for the word "soft locked", now I know what to call this). They said I can't send any money until I transferred some on my PP account from my bank account.

Sometimes PP is really shitty.

Thats a weird flex but if you think you're considered a big customer for them you're a bit delusional and if you think israeli pps get yours softlocked then whatever makes you happy
