Here's some personal advice, I was about 170lb when I started college, and I gained 30lbs over the course of two semesters (1 year) through drinking / eating takeout / smoking and also not going to the gym. Over 2 years later I'm comfortable with my body but still go to the gym when I can (work schedule permitting)
Depending on if you live in a double / single / triple (or commute to college) you have a few options.
1: Walking helps, after your classes end I would walk around campus at least from building to building (find some inclines up stairs or hills) and repeat that. Then slowly build up to jogging and running. Don't max yourself out immediately, rather focus on repetition and building endurance.
2: Going to the gym, a large part of why I never went during college was anxiety as well. I slowly realized that people who are going to the gym are trying to better themselves, no matter how much or how little they do.
3: If you have a car (or can utilize campus transportation) I'd highly recommend trying to find a gym near you. If you're in the USA I'd recommend planet fitness.
4: Diet, if you have a cafeteria / lunch / dining hall, explore other alternatives to fried foods. I hated leafy greens before I found out that my college had a relatively nice salad bar. (load up on them mixed 50/50 greens and some red onions + balsamic)

For the first point only drink pure water, this will help u the most, then mainly eat rice with chicken. This will reduce ur weight
then go to gym, but when u dont want to....there is also another option...
1 Day u eat normally the next day u only drink water (very much line 5-6l per day) and this both repeat permanently...
after 2 weeks u will lose like 10 kilos...
