Did a partial refund for a store, got them to resend the items which were missing, but now today I get an email that they checked the warehouse CCTV and did indeed package the items. They want to launch a "fill scale investigation" incl. Courier investigation.
They asked if the items had turned up in the meantime or if I'd been mistaken and had actually received them (seems like a trap?)
Do I ride it out? Or say they arrived/I was mistaken

I'm pretty sure they can't film employers on the work floor because privacy and shit. At least that's why there are no CCTV cameras in our warehouse. Only entry points and exits are being filmed.

Just ask to see the CCTV footage before telling them anything.
