I've been trying to lucid dream for a while. I usually have very vivid dreams, but I can never wake up in them. I did this morning! It was pretty underwhelming, but still. Now I know what it's like .

I'm not an expert at them. But I can get them occasionally. Usually when I'm not trying (using that method where u wake up in the middle of the night or early morning and then go back to sleep). Very uncontrolled but works sometimes so I like it because low effort.
Anyways. for me they're pretty fun usually. I find they're more vivid depending on how healthy my diet and lifestyle is.

I’ve heard about this lucid dreaming before. Can you describe what it’s like and what it is I said I’ve heard of it but just the word. Also how do you lucid dream I want to try this?.
So Lucid dreaming is when you realize that you're dreaming inside of a dream. Once you do this, you basically have superpowers and you can control the dream. You can fly and talk to people, maybe summon people who died in real life or will a cathedral into existence. I personally haven't done all of that, I've just heard that it's possible. What I did to lucid dream last night was I went to bed, but I set an alarm for 6 hours after falling asleep. When I woke up, I peed and watched an episode of Rick and Morty on my phone (with night mode on and the brightness all the way down). Then, I kept telling myself that I was going to wake up in my dream until I fell asleep. And then when I woke up it was in a strange, large room on a really poofy white bed: Dreamland! Yay!
Keep in mind that I've tried that same process before unsuccessfully. It might take a few tries before you get it. Also, doing a ton of reality checks (looking at your hands and making sure it's the right amount of fingers, trying to put your hands through a wall or jumping and seeing if you sink through the floor) during the day apparently helps. Once you realize you're in the dream, you should spin around a few times to stabilize it.

Cool! Interesting that you get them when you're not trying.
