Shoutbox scroll up

Hello. Whenever someone types a new message on shoutbox it's being displayed automatically.That means, if I try to read older messages by scrolling down, if someone writes a new shoutbox message the shoutbox scrolls itself up and I have to scrolldown again to finish reading old messages. That's very annoying (especially, when many people chat on SB).

Is there a way to turn off the automatical scroll up feature?
