Best proxies/VPS for cracking

What are the best proxies used for cracking? Public ones are unstable as fuck and have high latency. Additionally you have to filter them.

I heard good things about fineproxy but assume you have bought 5K proxies from them. After say 3 failed login attempts the victim site poses a captcha challenge.

So you can - at best - check 15K combos. I mean if you have a 100K combo list and only very little to no combos are specific to the target site, it's a waste of money isn't it?

 

Secondly, would you recommend a VPS and why. Is the only factor that matters here bandwidth or also hardware performance?

Should I use multiple VPS for successful cracking? What are good VPS providers which "allow" (not legally but just don't check for it intrusively) cracking or where to get good cracked RDPs?
