I know wifi range is about 150 feet indoors and about 300 feet outdoors, is there any specific type of device that can send a wifi signal more than that?

range extender?

Yes but every range extender's range extends the same range as a modem right? for example if the modem can send a signal up to 100m and the extender takes it and extends it to an extra 100m thats 200m right? I want more than that without having to put a range extender every 100m

I am quite sure that the meters that the extender provides depends o the extender itself.

You can look around online for ways to unlock and edit the RFID and wattage but the reason there isn't any really powerful routers for personal use is for FCC rules I believe...

Oh yeah, there are a bunch of FCC regulations. You cant have a radio transmitter over like 1 watt... shit like that. I don't think they can or will do anything about wifi because it has its own band.
