Reason for this Tutorial
I seen a lot of members on our best forum asking for Sentry configs and don't know how to make there own config. So i want to give you some tutorials on 4 lessons For Newbies As Giveaway.
For the 1st lesson i will teaching you (redirecting to another page) that's mean what happens when redirecting to another page. Mainly to teach you what Sentry sees and does when you put in a redirect URL and redirect SK.
Most Important thing to know
The first thing Sentry does is proceed with the Authentication stage. This can be any URL you input here:
95% of the time this page will be your login page. So once Sentry attempts your combo it goes to a page. That page is either telling you, you failed at logging in or you've succeeded.
The FIRST thing Sentry does is look for a redirect key on THIS page. If the redirect key is found it takes you to the redirect URL and looks for all other keys (SK FK RK BK)
For Example:
After you login, the source has the following:
We chose ">Logout</a>" as our Redirect Key. Therefore Sentry searches for this redirect URL and it found it. We tell Sentry, once you find our redirect key, go to the redirect URL we specified here.
Sentry takes us to this URL and then searches for the the keys we specified here:
If Sentry finds one of our specified keys in the above picture it will tell us it found a key. If no keys are found, then it will give us an error saying "No keys were found" and send that combo to the "To Check" tab.
If our redirect key is NOT found. Than Sentry will just search for our regular keys we specified above.
Conclusion
After logging in, pick a redirect key, redirect to the specified URL and pick your SK and FK.
