I can personally say, that I was previously booting Kali from Virtual Box and it ran slow, and laggy.

So I decided to try to install on my hard-drive and dual boot Kali with Windows 10 also.

I am pleased to say, in my experience my PC hadn't slowed down in the slightest, and that

Kali ran so much more smooth, and lag free when it wasn't booting

from VirtualBox.

Hope it helps, I would say give it a shot it shouldn't slow you down.

Good luck!
