I'm currently looking for free yet reliable security plugins for a WordPress site. Most of the top-rated options I've come across are paid, and unfortunately, my client is operating on a tight budget without room for additional expenses.

Are there any recommendations for trustworthy security plugins that come at no cost? I firmly believe in the necessity of ensuring the security of the WP site despite budget constraints.

Most hosting providers come with free malware scanner and firewall. I would recommend rocket.net, chemicloud or mehcanicweb. They all have super fast hosting with free malware scanner and or firewall (and CDN)
