for compiling, download dev-cpp ++ from bloodsheed, install it on windows, if you have linux, use wine to install it on linux, when you are about to compile file.cpp, go to TOOLS -> COMPILER -> SETTINGS -> LINKER -> be sure to chose yes to not create a window other wise after compiling you will get a dos command promt all along the execution.
