IOS for example, if it requires a passcode and isn't accepting the face ID/ touch ID then it is encrypted and u can do nothing until its unlocked.

What are you trying to steal? Saved passwords in the keychain and contacts? Yes, you can steal that if you connect it to a PC. :ok:
