A way to cook really cool crystals

Prereqs: some coins and a straw.

This makes really cool stuff, I tell ya.

Take a jar, pour a tablespoon or two of salt and a tablespoon of baking soda into it.

Next, get some ammonia and pour it into the jar until it is 2/3 full.

Now get some bleach, pour it into the jar until it is full.

Finally get the coins and drop them into the jar. Put the straw into the jar and blow some air into it to start the crystallization. Blow for atleast 30s to see results.

It's important to remember that you have to make the solution supersaturated with sugar for it to work. Easiest way is to dissolve as much sugar as you can into boiling water. And you have to wet the string, and roll in in sugar before placing it in the solution, or it might not crystallize like you want.
