Just like you expressed your thoughts and opinions, I'm gonna do the same.

 

Just because you had a dfferent experience with the sb as others right now, or 1 year ago, or whenever, doesn't mean the current situation is bad. Things change. I also liked a lot of things 1 year ago, 5 years ago, 13 years ago.
Doesn't mean that it should come back, just like I (or a small group of like-minded people) want/wants it.

 

After reading your thread, it feels like the summary is: we had a and now it's b, I don't like b, let's change it so it will be like a again.

Uh, did you guys pay per message 6 years ago? No. If that system had a pay-per-message system, then I bet you a 1000 bucks that you or someone else wouldn't touch the sb.

The sb is the first thing people see when they register. Do you really think a new user who knows nothing will keep using nulled if they see they have to pay per message?

 

I know you have a different experience than I have, but I did make friends through sb, learned new things through sb, had fun through sb. Why do we have to monetize every aspect of a site? So the wealthiest people will have their fun in the sb? I can assure you that the wealthy users won't be 100% business and serious on sb. They will have their dumb messages. I can already imagine someone spamming emotes and a different user saying: "bro really spent 3 dollars / credits just to spam pepe"

I don't see how that's a problem if you want to start talking about that get active in the Shoutbox and talk about it? At the moment the people that actively chat in Shoutbox don't seem to have a big interest to talk about that too so it's not a regular topic

I don't really use discord except for Voice calls, but I'm not sure if Discord has a public chat for everyone with a Discord account (Id assume it doesn't?) - if gaming is your safe space, then connecting with SB users through games is sadly not an option for you but for me it's always very fun

I'm not gonna respond to every single sentence since you repeated a lot of stuff, but:

Did we have to pay per message? No, but as I said, we had more people to talk to, WAY more people.

 

And yes, the sb is the first thing a user sees, so why greet them with pepe spam?

Of course they aren't interested in deeper topics if they come here for short-term gaming / meme / pepe spam, thats exactly my point lol

DIscord has public servers for every kind of game / topic, if I want to talk about overwatch I'll chat in the overwatch discord, if I want to talk about anime I'll join an anime discord. If I have no specific topic in mind I'll join a community discord.

My opinion and suggestion here:

1 - I think at the end there would be only people with money talking, which doesn't necessarily mean HQ

2 - So, my suggestion is rather than "kick" LQ people, is to reward people that are HQ or give a motivation to LQ become HQ

3 - You also should consider that you are closing the doors to gray people who maybe are HQ users

4 - 2 years ago it was a good period, and as any good period it ends, now we can just wait so "a new good period" appears

 

But let's consider for a moment what you said and do a little experiment:

 

Imagine there's a group of people who pays to send a text, as you said, they wouldn't send a text only for an emoji or a useless message.
They would use their message to express the maximum things possible, making long texts, which doesn't seem very different from a Thread,
And for small "useless" messages they would use a PM or any other mean.
So by consequence the people would see that instead of spending money they can use The HQ Lounge
Why pay for something like "HQ conversations and HQ debates" when you can do it for free here https://www.nulled.t.../134-hq-lounge/

So not only People without money wouldn't pay, but also people with money which they would prefer to use the HQ Lounge, that leaves us with a very minority of people that can and want use SB,
Maybe a group of 3-5 guys who would just make a telegram or discord group

 

Result: SB is totally dead

 

The intentions are good but we need to be very carefoul with the cobra effect
