Cometchat Professional v5.6.2 for Social Engine

This version is for the latest Social Engine.

For integration with other scripts, you need to replace SE integration.php file with your xxxxx integration.php file. Before you attempt to install SE cometchat for another script (other than SE), you need to replace included integration.php for the right one. Use one from v5.6 found on this forum.

- Upload this file to your site's root.and extract using cPanel.
- On your browser run the following link: yoursite.com/cometchat/install.php
- Copy the code and paste into new HTML block to your site's header using Layout Editor

To login to the admin panel to customize it, go to yoursite.com/cometchat/admin and login with the following details:

Username: cometchat
Password: cometchat

I've decided to include available integration files for other platform. Some of them are newer, some of them older. They may or may not work, The package works well for Social Engine. If it doesn't work for you, you're doing something wrong. Don't get upset with me. Giving me a negative feedback 'cause of your frustration will not make you smarter either. Find the right integration file for your needs for v5.6.

I've included an integration file reported to work with PHP Fox 4. No guaranties.

thanks for this, i have got it installed and i can access the admin panel through my site url

 

i have copied and pasted the code to go in the header but the cometchat doesnt show on any pages

 

its a wordpress site i have with the Kleo theme

 

i have checked the page source and the code is there and i have used the wordpress integration file

 

any ideas? i know its the theme throwing it out but can't work out how to fix it
