I’m not very active in the forum so without a ping I would have never seen this.

First of all - at the moment - I’m not accepting new donators for my service, so even if I wanted I cannot fulfill this request.

Second, the refund was like 80% (the max I can do) of the amount of the hotel Rottweiler booked for a total of 555€. The amount being lower of its scammed amount it’s not my fault cause If he had chosen a more expensive hotel (i told him to book an hotel within a certain range) I could have refunded slightly more.
He was aware that the refund is not 100%.

Third, I think that I did everything I could to solve this issue even if I didn’t earn anything from this, only losing, because in the end ZIZ got the money, Rottweiler got the refund, and I got nothing.

@Lucas I hope we can permanently close this thread because really I’m being blasted in this case and I’m really losing interest on how things work here.

He should be getting back the amount he paid to you, which you then paid to @ZIZ

If the refund you did for him does not cover that amount, then he gets the remaining amount as credit for a future refund? or something else?

It makes no sense what you're saying, you paid @ZIZ without certainty of a successful confirmation, so this is not his place to take a loss as if he got scammed by an impersonator or a random with no rep. He used you as middleman for the safety and bought from @ZIZ for his rep. Both of you failed him.

If you want the remainder of funds to be granted to you, it would have to be in credits for a future refund @Rotweiler

Yes.
I'd agree to keep the remaining $200 for future refunds but as he stated, he doesn't accept any more slots @KOZMO

WHATS the alternative here? @Lucas

@KOZMO the only option is to either give him the remainder of the funds in cash, or to give him something that makes up for the remaining balance. You can't say ''I gave him a refund of a value lower but he agreed so my job is done''

First of all I want to quantify the correct amount since it was like 700$, he got refunded 555€ so basically it’s 150$ left not 200$.

@Lucas I understand your point of view but you still don’t think it’s enough what I did to repay my debt? As I am not even the scammer?

What I can do is to give him a discount on my fee when I open my next donators batch, that’s the max I can do.

But after that, I’ll leave the forum, because here nothing is recognized and I’m being treated as a scammer when ZIZ is enjoying the stolen money.

To be honest, you can leave the forum whenever you want.

What exactly should we recognize? you were advertising a service that turned out to be a scam, and you paid the scammer before the customer got the service with no guarantees or collateral to make sure it would result in a successful transaction. Then you said you would cover what he spent in credits for a refund. That is, the entire amount he spent. Not 1 refund of any value. If he did a 300$ refund, then there would be 400$ remaining.

If you are going to hold the customer hostage by threatening to leave the forum if we don't consider this as resolved, then by all means leave and go advertise your services elsewhere. We have no interest in having you as a member if you are going to advertise scams and then act like this was not your responsibility in any way.

I’m here by 7 years, never scammed or did anything like this, always held a respectful and legit behavior, then I made a mistake, and now you address me with “if you have to stay here advertising scam then you can leave” after I even refunded the customer from my own pocket?

Furthermore it’s not even enough even if It was crystal clear to the customer that the refund was not 100% - as he has been a customer already - and he went with this hotel anyway?

It’s not about the money, because it costs me nothing giving him a credit or a discount, it’s a moral principle and I think that this is turning to be totally unfair behavior towards me that’s it’s hard to swallow.

You did not refund anyone from your pocket, you offered him a refund to cover the damages that were caused by your ignorance.
The refund not being 100% does not mean that the refund covers the entire amount he paid. He should be compensated for the entire value he paid for the booking. Not just 1 refund of whatever value he needs one time. That is just you abusing the terms of this report to get away with only compensating him partially.

Regarding that, you know that for each refund there is work to do, right?
So it is from my own pocket, because I didn’t earn anything and I lost time and money.

Then, If I offered him to compensate with a refund, I told him the amount, and he accepted it, and then he comes here complaining that the amount was not full, even if he was completely aware of this, do you think that it’s fair?
He could have asked for 10 Refunds of 70€ and I’d have to agree?

Nope. I offered him to compensate with a refund of the amount he was stolen. He chosen to go lower, why it’s my fault if he has been told?

Making another refund for him for free it’s a cost for me, and a double one since I already did.

I dont understand how that equals to ''I will only do 1 refund no matter what the value is and if it's less you will have to accept that will be the only refund I will do'' In any case it would have been logical that whether it's 1 or 5 refunds, the amount that has to be covered is what he lost, not 1 refund of whatever value and that's it.
