A little backstory:
I started programming by taking up Visual Basic (classic, not .NET ), and the VB book of this publisher was the first ever programming book I owned... great book, still have it, as a matter of fact, although pretty battered (and anyhoo VB6 is a dead lang amirite )
This book on C++ by that publisher is, not unlike the VB book, quite informative and steady-paced if you're a beginner, and has useful exercises, tips and makes you create real world use-case programs
I suggest reading this and then referencing https://cppreference.com/ or something to get a better hold of the language
thanks
