I have no idea if its different for VIP and I don't even know if I'm fully correct, but you need 10 rep to be able to rep someone else. All i know is I had 10 rep before I even tried repping someone else (This is on different account).

vip get instant auth access, that's why I'm asking.

from what i have seen you need to have auth to be able to give rep but if you pay for vip then you get instant access to auth so you can give rep instantly so what you might experience may be a bug of some sort so i would suggest contacting a mod

since the new reputation system was implemented yesterday there are maybe some bugs like vips without 11 rep cant vote

but i think it will be fixed soon.

you can also try to pm Oxide, he is the admin and the only one who can give you a serious answer

Yeah I was able to give rep since my very first day on this forum, until yesterday.

 

Now it says you have to be Authorized and I do believe you're right that VIP should give instant auth?
