Ok so, Im seeing some tuts on SE lately that involve editing a doc to submit as proof of purchase, but none of them explain what happens to the docs properties once its edited. So Im here to set you straight on that subject before you get in a wreck. Basically, you can have an awesome edited document, complete with holographics, signature cards, blah blah, but it will be worthless unless you address the metadata in afore-mentioned document. Anytime a pic or doc or whatver is edited, the editijng software leaves behind a fingerprint by way of metadata. The metadata needs to be addressed PERIOD. Ill show you what I mean, and also show you how to get rid of it.
Look at the example..these are two of the same sample side by side..YES I KNOW THE FONTS DO NOT MATCH,,THESE ARE JUST quick examples i threw together for this quick tut.,
Can you see the differences>? Nope..until you look at its properties like such
See that photshop tag? kinda dead giveaway right?
So upload your doc here.https://www.thexifer.net/
after upload click "exifme" to enter properties. Here you can edit or delete any properties such as geo location, camera used, dates etc. Dont forget to save the edit and delete the original so u dont get confused..cheers
