I really like Spotify and since I am a student I get the premium for $4.99 but honestly is comes down to personal preference.
I choose to use Spotify because I like the Ui that is on there and the fact that I can socialize using it. Looking at what my friends are listening to and my friends look at what I listen to. Also! You can listen with buddies on Discord through Spotify.

Spotify is better suited for everyone that isn't actually in the Apple ecosystem, i had the chance to try both but personally would always suggest Spotify over Apple music for better compatibility with a wider range of devices.

spotify is better. The Ui is a lot nicer, it doesn't add on to apples monopoly and its just better. The only thing is im using apple music rn because i got 4 months free and I got deleted off the spotify family premium I was on so rip.
