Reverse Engineering LMS/eLearning webapps [REQ]

Many eLearning programs use LMS as there distribution web application.. I have seen scripts that allow bypasses for mandatory videos and interactive lessons just by writing a script and pushing it through the browser console. I'm curious if anyone knows the process on how to create these scripts. It's difficult trying to find any information on this topic. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
