Not big myself into watching shows all that much but I did enjoy a couple episodes of Black Mirror. They are non-sequential and each episode depicts it's own dystopian take on reality.
Seriously though, if you have not seen Band of Brothers or The Pacific, you absolutely need to go and do that. They are fucking amazing and I am pissed at myself for waiting so long to go and watch them. I even got the books they were based on I enjoyed them so much. Start with Band of Brothers though -- it is the better of the two.
