In Topic: Scam report against Hewlett/AMGI#7354 140€

@Hewlett what do you need him to do in order to provide a full refund? Please state it here. If you require him to upload all songs sepparately, and he is unable to do so due to it being a hassle, unnecessary, or not something he would need to do with other providers, then you need to start telling your customers about this beforehand. You can't tell him only after he has attempted to upload them in a group.

If the only instruction you will provide is for him to upload the songs individually, that's not going to work, you can sell the songs to customers that have no problem with doing so, and in the future remember to make this very clear before you take payments / hand out the product.

I think this is mostly a misunderstanding. You can't sell something which has specifics and decide not to mention them (such as the inability to upload the songs in any way that isn't individually) until the customer complains. It's a deal breaker if mentioned in the right moment.

if you have an alternative to make the songs be accepted by the company in the way he would need them (together, not individually) or if you wish to provide a replacement that will meet his needs, let me know.

Yo, what are we talking about? It seems that we're reading only part of the requirements.

I clearly stated the way I would have produced the songs:

Every 1x song there's a different instrument, every 5x songs there's a different melody and every 10x songs there are different drums. And I followed that condition.

What does that mean?

If you're an asshole and you wanna sell those songs to a single customer, doubling the price I did for you, for maximizing the earnings, YOU will get in trouble.

If you're a smart guy, and you wanna keep the Low Quality Songs package (because of the amazing price they have), you can't give to a customer 5 songs with the same melody and then cry if they get rejected. So, since you purchased 40 songs, 5 * 8 = 40; there will be 8 different melodies in these 40 songs. So you can sell 8 songs per customer (with 40 songs' stock). In that way I don't think they will get denied.

Don't like this? BUY HQ SONGS.

I will not agree for more than 50% refund. NOT EVERY distributor is premium, and NOT EVERY distributor takes money for publish songs. How can I know he won't release a Single per week, and the next month bot them? After maybe I refunded him the songs?

Without considering the fact that I cannot know If he uploaded bad mp3 files disguised as my songs.

I need you to state instructions for him to successfully upload the songs. If the songs are too similar to be uploaded in one go, you should have told him about this prior to his purchase. Not everyone wants to upload only singles.
Please reply with a solution for this or chat with him to find some middle ground. I think 50% refund is more than fair considering the facts. Don’t know why you’d refuse to do this.

In contact with OP for the refund.

@hewlett reply within 12 hours.

Hello everyone. I'm Hewlett / AMGI, I am a music producer / songwriter.

Around a month before the "explosion" of Spotify stream botting, I started offering my services in Discord Spotify-Stream servers.

@OriaxSTREAM wrote me a message on 08 March 2020, saying he was interested in buying some songs.

He asked for infos about prices and song type.

That's how I work and how I specified I would've delivered the songs:

Every song has got a different instrument from eachother
Every 5 songs I change the melody

Every 10 songs I change the drums

And I produced and delivered the songs as I said.

From some days, distributors got more strict, and that's a fact that I'm reading a lot in streambotting servers, and Oriax contacted me saying the songs are not working.

Now the fact is: I can't be 100% sure that he is trying to upload my songs, because he has got no proof of that, he could even create an empty mp3/wav file, upload it and send me the "reject" screen. Apart from this, I asked him to upload the song singularly, because this would have worked for sure and I think it's a good compromise. But he is refusing to do that.

More than 600+ songs sold and no problems: https://i.imgur.com/RL5yk6b.png
Try to search one of this title on Spotify. I bet you will find the song.

I would also like to tag someone who I think could vouch for me: @OKamilTan
