I asked for proof it was him. I sent code but no reply as he said he was not on pc. He asked me to check Discord handle shown in his profile page here on n.to. I cross checked and it was all the same. His Discord handle on his profile page was Giulion#4537 so was the guy on discord.

People acting like you never had the same Discord Handle. I learned from you that always check Discord Handle @Lucas. The two ppl had exactly the same. That was the verification method used.

That said, @Giulion explained. He forgot to change his discord handle on the profile and somebody else took advantage of that and used that discord handle.

One can argue that I should have used the DM to verify, but who would have thought that he had forgotten to update his Discord Handle (pretty preposterous, if I may say). It's a perfect alibi unfortunately

 

What I don't understand, is : Given my quick reaction to reply to you, Why didn't you try to elaborate on what was happening?

I'm not ubiquitous or omniscient, I had no idea what was the message about at the time, and 1 more message would have confirmed my saying immediately and prevented this situation to happen to you.

Sure, it wasn't @Giulion who did the scamming, but it was under his (unique) Discord name that he had set on his profile (image provided by Castiel).

 

I remember one of the staff posting a thread being like "verify their Discord profile by copying their Discord from their nulled profile and searching for it in Discord, and seeing that their Discord pops up". Unfortunately that was a ~year ago, and I can't find it. But that should be verification enough.

He should be held accountable for not updating his profile.

Why does it seem silly to you? Do you think I spend 24/7 on this forum, and that the first thing that happened in my mind when I changed my #, which is totally irrelevant in my life is : "I need to update it, on very specific boxes Profile over Nulled " ?. I did update it, on my threads that I do business on, and on my guide in my signature. I didn't even remember there was a way to display my discord name. 

You have a clear bias, which is to think that I could have foreknown this situation would have happened, when I bought a nitro upgrade and updated my name. I don't blame you to think this way, but it shows you have little to no capability of empathy, meaning being able to put yourself in my shoes.

So if I follow your logic, you should have known better, and should have reached out to me. You are to blame here as well. Why shouldn't you be held accountable since you didn't reply to my enquiry about someone impersonating me? This could have led to me finding out about this dude way earlier and possible spared @GTBenja his 100€.

And I can't be held accountable for people's recklessness and lack of judgement. 

I also want to end this by saying that someone, is having a good laugh at me justifying for his scam and at @GTBenja cause he fooled him.

AT THIS POINT, I knew someone was using my name and trying to abuse people with my reputation, name and picture.

I swiftly enquired in sb for mods help, in the person of @Eminem informing him that someone was most likely trying scam people with my name. At this point I updated my sig, precising that I ALWAYS ACCEPT MM AND VERIFICATION and also my discord tag. 

I went over my parameters on Nulled, to check if I got hacked and I noticed that Discord username hadn't been updated on Nulled since I updated, which immediately raised my suspicion and awareness level. I swiftly updated it so no one else would be fooled or taken advantage from this.

Then I started investigating, I was unfortunately not helped that much by both of you but I've tried to find some information on how it could have happened, so I looked for my old discord name to add him "as a friend', and there it was :

Someone was using my old # and profile picture and name. So I saw that this mfer has a friend in common with me so I reached out to him to help me find more information.

So apparently either it's a serial impersonator or it's this guy mentionned above. 

Finally, sorry again for your loss @GTBenja I want to make something clear. My only mistake here, was not to update my Discord username in february, when I purchased Nitro, and I'm sorry you got fooled by this but ultimately it doesn't make me a scammer.

For mods/users of Nulled : be careful as I'm thinking it's possible some people are scraping the Discord Username from nulled profiles and registering them to scam unsuspecting people.

I'm sorry to hear that you believe I scammed you, but I want to make it clear that I have not engaged in any fraudulent activity with you or anyone else.

In fact, I have been the victim of impersonation myself, and I have warned others about it since yesterday, as soon as you adressed me a verif message, which is the moment I learnt about this situation.

Unfortunately, some individuals are using my name and image to deceive people, and I have been trying to stop them. I am always willing to verify my identity to anyone who asks, but it is ultimately up to individuals to verify that they are dealing with the real me.

I also want to mention that you were clever enough to send me a verification message that I did not fully understand, yesterday, as I had no idea who you were and what was it about. In response, I simply replied with "???" as I was unsure what you were referring to. Unfortunately, they still managed to deceive you into thinking that they were me, even tho you had the reflex of doing this. 

Additionally, I want to let you know that I have added two-factor authentication to my account on this forum in order to prevent any hacking attempts. 

I want to emphasize that I only have one Discord account, and I rarely use Telegram. If someone claiming to be me is using a different account or platform, then they are definitely not me.

I hope that you can understand that I am not the person responsible for your situation, and I am willing to help in any way I can to resolve this matter. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you.

I encourage you to PUBLICLY release any information you have on the person who scammed you, since it was not me.

I would also appreciate being able to see screen captures, phones numers attached to the telegram or any other relevant information that could help me stop this impersonator
