Android Phone: Samsung Galaxy Infuse 4G ($24-$50), Samsung Galaxy S4/S5 ($80-$120), BLU Studio C 5.0 HD ($100)

• Easy to Root/Side load Super User apps and features.
• Relatively cheap
• Can flash custom ROMs to give it the appearance of newer phone models, or to boost performance.
• Can be some-what clunky and slow compared to other devices due to being old generation phones. 
• No more factory updates available for older model phones, so custom ROMs are your best friend for fixes/upgrades.
• Limited quantity and hard to replace parts if something is broken internally.

Android Tablet; RCA 11.6" Maven Pro ($130)

• Easy to Root/Side load Super User apps and features.
• Decent amount of storage that can expand up to an additional 64GB via SD card.
• Good for streaming media and has a built in screen cast feature.
• Detachable keyboard
• Digitizer has been known to come lose, but it is a simple fix to get it working again
• No more factory updates from manufacturer, and hard to flash custom ROMs depending on model.
• Lots of bloatware, but can be removed after rooting device.
• Keyboard lag when typing.

Laptop; Lenovo Ideapad Y510P 15.6" ($780)

• CD/DVD Drive
• Decent performance for running games 
• Great speakers
• 2GB RAM expandable up to 4GB
• Decent size hard drive.
• Hard to find product.
• Unable to replace or upgrade parts aside from RAM. Should be expected since It's a laptop.
• Poor battery life since this machine eats up a lot of resources to provide best performance, but power settings can be changed within the energy manager app.

Windows Tablet; Nextbook Flexx 11.6" ($170-$250)

• Doubles up as miniature laptop, or tablet. Keyboard is detachable.
• Two USB slots, one 3.0, and one 2.0.
• Fairly quick boot up/decent performance for 2GB of RAM.
• Comes with 64GB of internal storage, and expandable up to additional 64GB.
• Keyboard is fairly small.
• Known to have charging issues with stock charger. Company provided charger is some-what loose, but can be fixed by buying a third-party charger for $8.
• Short battery life due to light up keyboard, but it can be toggled off in settings.

Before it got so popular it was a good game, with a small and friendly community. Now that it's been out for 7-8 years, things have shifted to benefit experienced, and veteran players. 
You can no longer join as a newbie and expect to have fun because most of the time, you are matched with other people with previous experience playing on a lower level rolling over newbs, or flaming them because a new player doesn't know how to play or build their character properly. Only way to get a good experience is by playing with some of your friends already. This game is now taken more seriously and involves more mechanical skills. When I played around season 2, the only mechanical thing you needed to know was orb walking, but now there's orb walking, animation cancelling, ect...It's just not a friendly game anymore.
League is a horrendous experience for new players, but it's still a some-what decent game once you get past all the bots and smurfs ruining low level games.
