I want to take Pyschology for my A-Levels but I don't want to get in hopeful just for things not to work out.

Speaking from experience, psychology courses, at least those which I have taken, tend to be heavy in terms of reading and memorization.

Depending on which aspect of psychology the course is focused on it may or may not have much practical use which can be applied throughout your daily life.

Nonetheless, if nothing else, you will still gain a deeper understanding of the psychological processes driving others who you come in contact with throughout your life.
