Upvoting not required nor being asked for but helps me get to lucas level :pogger:
Yes, I know that this is sorta well known at this point. Believe it or not I used to rape tf outta wyze products myself. Lots of people who are NEW to SE still DO NOT know about wyze smart home SE's so I thought I would share my knowledge at the topic! Ok so this is a GREAT SE for starters as it really doesn't require a whole lot of much. 1. Go to the WYZE site and go to support page. 2. basically go to the place where you write a message and claim you or your family member has a wyze smart home device (bulb, sensor, plug, cam) that is NOT working and or not turning on. You really won't have to go in depth with excuses as this is an easy kiddo SE 3. Once you go throught the shit if the live chat is open it should give you the chance to use it. if not it makes you go via email. choose a time where chat is open! 4. use the dropdowns select technical support etc. 5. fully explain to the rep that the device isnt working or wont turn on. They might ask you to do some troubleshooting steps, simply wait the amount of time this would normally take and then message back saying this didn't work 6. they will eventually say its defective yada yada yada and ask for POP your address etc. Say you bought it on amazon and its gonna take you a while to find the POP. Ask them to email u what u need to get. 7. they will now send u an email. leave live chat. 8. in this email they will be asking for POP and your addy. they might ask for the SN or model number of the device. 9. generate an amazon POP with a generator. ( You should know how to do this. would link a gen but i wouldnt want to cause trouble and its a long story lmao.) 10. take a SCREENSHOT of the generated pop. make sure its a jpg 11. Send them the jpg of the POP along with your address. if they asked for the number claim your not great with tech and couldnt find it. also when sending the jpg of the POP ask "is this the one you need?" it will make you look like a nieve little bitch who doesn't use technology or know much about it. Have a great rest of your day/night guys and gals and have a great 2020!
