In my opinion Malwarebytes is a pretty good one.

*edit* There are plenty of pre-cracked all over the place.

I went pretty well with Bitdefender (I know it is not free...) but I dont think that you really need an antivirus. Run untrusted Programs in VMs and for the rest you dont need one eather. As long as you have a normal human sense (what I am sure you have since you are in such a forum) I wouldnt care about it too much.

Personally I even run with disabled windows defender on my main machine, because I only code on it anyways...

So all in all I can suggest bitdefender or malwarebytes.

In my opinion Kaspersky (licensed version) is a really good anti-virus.
