These are all the books released in the Humble 'Developing Your Own Games' Bundle which was released recently, and found here:

https://www.humblebu...-springer-books

Apress is one of my fave tech-related publishers; their books are always amazing, and the authors generally have a doctorate of some sort so they know what they're talking about and have very few errors compared to other major vendors, *cough* OReilly *cough*

Here's the list of books in the bundle:

Java Game Development with LibGDX
Beginning Swift Games Development for iOS
Learn Unity for Android Game Development
Practical Video Game Bots
Developing Games on the Raspberry Pi
Developing Turn-Based Multiplayer Games
Python, PyGame, and Raspberry Pi Game Development
Mostly Codeless Game Development
Learn Unity for Windows 10 Game Development
The Advanced Game Developer's Toolkit
Pro Java 9 Games Development
Building Games with Ethereum Smart Contracts
Essential TypeScript
Practical Gamemaker: Studio
Physically Based Shader Development for Unity 2017
Developing 2D Games with Unity
Program Arcade Games
Beginning Android Games
Let's Build a Multiplayer Phaser Game
Beginning iOS AR Game Development
Game Development with Construct 2
Understanding Game Application Development
Pro HTML5 Games
Introducing Javascript Game Development
GameMaker: Studio: 100 Programming Challenges

Personal Recommendations:

Building Games with Ethereum Smart Contracts
Pro Java 9 Games Development
Developing Turn-Based Multiplayer Games

Some really solid stuff. If you buy the books separately, it'll set you back well over $1300, so download them here instead for free.

I'm actually curious if people read books to learn programming, cuz StackOverflow + learncpp.com is enough Kappa

Thanks for sharing it

Thank

That's only enough if you're writing an interpreted calculator (I don't mean arithmetic, I mean type in your own formulas to solve.)
Anything above that and you'll start to need algorithms or much more obscure concepts/paradigms like OS/system design or even synchronized concurrency. I mean come on, learncpp doesn't even explicitly cover lambdas lmao. Not that anything here will cover lambdas either, but at least it's a little more use-case specific, especially with anything related to networking.
