How can I get a good VR Headset for cheap?

basically, when i was in london with my brother, his roommate waited for me so that we can put his VR driving simulator rig together. Hes filthy rich, so he had like 1k$ in wheels and an oculus rift. 

 

I spent at least 10 hours on it on a daily basis, didnt sleep much because of the rig. Being inside there, it really felt like i was driving the car that Schumacher won his last championship.

 

everything felt so, real. it felt like i was actually in the car. I drove the F2004 in Monza and got a time that would have gotten me 18th that day in that grid. not gonna lie, i cried a bit after taht.  being an F1 fan since birth, feeling so close to the actual track gave me a sense of euphoria and adrenaline i havent experienced since.

 

I need this in my life. I put tons of hours into schoolwork just for the chance that one day i will work as an engineer in an F1 team. I need the confidence boost and i need the adrenaline to be able to keep going.

 

So,I already have a logitech wheel (aint really realistic but it has to suffice) and a good PC (I will need to buy a gpu from an Asus service).

 

What im missing is the VR headset. 

 

Does anyone know how i can get a VR headset for cheap other than refunding? I do not have a credit card so i cannot refund it.

Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are only like $400-$500 now. Just buy one on Amazon or Best Buy or something and refund it. Valve Index is definitely the best VR headset out there, but it is $1000 and I doubt can be refunded easily like the others

Hey, your story is really moving and i want to help you :-(. If you can, get a cash app debit card -- this will solve the no credit card problem. Then, you can refund for there people and have them pay you through cash app. Venmo also has a similar card, but it is a credit card and, if you have no credit history, you may not be able to get approved for it. I highly recommend cash app card. Provide some services for others, then you can buy your vr headset and refund it -- good luck!!! :-D
