it depends, in a party alchool is pretty good and for chill or talk with a friends weed is pretty better, compared to the effects I prefer alcohol

I also agree that if you NEED drugs to take a break form life, there's definitely some big-ass issues that need to be resolved (not with drugs/alcohol). BUT! For people who don't have such problems, either weed or alcohol can be a fun way to spend a weekend or sometimes with friends, sometimes.
