Additional Information:
User gets confirmation of refund for his iPhone XS and tells me he will pay me when the money comes back to his bank account (see Ref 1). I also tried a SportsDirect refund with him that he did not follow through with and so he has not received a refund for it (see Ref 2, this is an important part as to why he does not want to pay). 5 days after telling me he will send the money when it hits his bank account he messages me that he will send it now (see Ref 3). He then tells me he is getting an error and cannot send, he screenshots the error whilst using the iPhone XS I refunded for him (see Ref 4). User then tells me he will send "tomorrow" and disappears for 10 days. He messages me again saying the SportsDirect refund failed (despite no further communications with them since his communications with them in July) and that he is £170 down himself, despite him saying he can go return the items and pay using that money? (see Ref 5). Immediately from the tone I assume he will not want to pay. He then messages me again saying that he will not pay because of "my failed £170 refund" and that I will have to wait until "he gets a job" (see Ref 6).
I assume he just does not want to pay because he does not have a job and wants to save as much money as possible, why would he have any obligation to pay someone online, no real life consequences right? He was willing to pay initially because he had the money in his bank account but has since spent it, see Ref 8, he was vouching for me (at that point (16th Aug) he had already not messaged SportsDirect for a few weeks).
In my view he has made over £700 (even taking into consideration his "failed refund") with my work and help, I should be paid for that.
See Ref 7. I ignored his suggestion for talking to staff because he clearly wanted to pay multiple times (I quote: "sending now") but backed out every time and ignored me, it's been way too long (over a month since his first "I will pay now") and he just wants to avoid payment.
If you need any screenshots / details please do ask. I want to know who is in the wrong here because I think that I am not.
