Movies (for your likings):
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Synopsis: A young blade runner's discovery of a long-buried secret leads him to track down former blade runner Rick Deckard, who's been missing for thirty years.
I recommended this movie to you since I've seen to your old post that you like action movies. This movie might be a bit slow pace but it's a work of art. This is the second movie of Blade Runner, the first movie was Blade Runner 1982. This movie comes from a book from the author Philip K. Dick. I won't be sharing any spoilers but this movie speaks into more post-modernism philosophical lessons.
Son of Saul (2015)
Synopsis: A Jewish-Hungarian concentration camp prisoner sets out to give a child he mistook for his son a proper burial.
This is one of my most favorite film of all time. It has the same theme above however this comes from a more backward year WW2 1933-1945. When Hitler wants to be one authoritarianism through out the the European country. This story is a very detailed story it's the feeling that gives an impact to the viewers. As you can see in the poster it won the Grand Prix in Cannes Festival 2015 (The highest award for Cannes). This also won several awards outside France from Oscar to BAFTA. Just a quick guide for you after watching the movie, you need to watch some good laughing movies and I prefer that you watch it day time and not night time since it has some heavy feelings attached to it.
BlacKkKlansman (2018)
Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. Based on actual events.
This is out of peculiarity of the list that I've given to you however this one is a good movie too. This is about racism and fighting racism. I got nothing much to say with this movie, it's a great movie with family and friends.
'
Apocalypse Now (1979)
A U.S. Army officer serving in Vietnam is tasked with assassinating a renegade Special Forces Colonel who sees himself as a god.
I totally forgot the story line of this movie but it is an action film thus making it to your likings.
Cloud Atlas (2012)
An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.
This movie is one of my favorite movie too. There's a philosophical attached to it and the movie is kinda twisted. It has different story line HOWEVER most of this story line is connected to one another. Great movie with family and friends.
TV Series:
Chernobyl (2019)
In April 1986, an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics becomes one of the world's worst man-made catastrophes.
This is by far a very good TV Series that I can recommend up to now. Black mirror is great but this is much greater. This comes from a true story (some of the scenes are made up but made sense in the movie spectrum), true events that happened in Russia. It is a revamp of an old series. This has a greater impact on feelings so watch out. Don't watch it when you're high since this might cause panic attack.
