hey just a question
That depends on how you use your cellphone. Is it linked to your facebook(real name, pictures, location,...)? Do you have it registered somewhere as whois registrant data(real name, email, home address,...)?
A good way of figuring out how big your digital footprint is, is by checking how much information you can find about yourself if you look thoroughly. Enter your phone number in search engines and social media search boxes to see what comes up.

You can get some pretty basic info about the person if you have someone's phone number.
We can know the name of person who is using the SIM by searching the number in Facebook. (If registered on Facebook using their mobile number)
You can identify the person by their photos on Facebook profile.
You can check their name in Truecaller too. (Truecaller is an app that acts as a database for phone numbers along with theirs user names)
Apart form this, you can also find out the area in which the person resides. This might be true only for India though. I'm not sure. (Note:- Only area and not the exact location)
I'm digging it

For example, scammers can find on the internet which accounts on the online shops are linked to your number and try to get your data and credit cards there. Indeed, nowadays there are many working schemes how to deceive you and take your money. Once, I got a call from an unknown number and the caller introduced himself to me as a representative of my bank and tried to find out my card data allegedly because someones want to write off a large amount from my account. I understood that it is a kind of scam. So, I found the caller's number and area with the help of sccatl.org and addressed it to the police.
