It'll be a bit awkward if the refund failed and the customer paid with a amazon.de gift card, because if I was the customer I'd want the money spent on the gift card instead. 

 

However because it's 100% I guess there isn't anything to worry about, but I hope he adds PayPal as a payment in the future.

Completed a Amazon.de refund for 424EUR, however the refund was processed into my gift card balance. He said he's going to fix it and have refunded into my bank. Will keep this updated.

 

Update: Refund is now in my bank. It wasn't impossible.
