They're the same game type (BattleRoyale). But Fortnite is just a more refined experience. It has the younger playerbase hooked and it's crossplatform in all platforms. There's no game that can currently compete with it sadly. Apex is still missing a lot of features. To me Apex is a blackout and pubg killer. Not so much Fortnite. At least not right now

I think Apex is on a good path now, I personally like it better. I mean Fortnite is quite good but I always sucked at building so that always fucked me over but in Apex it's pretty much skill based

Never played apex but I've heard it has potential to be way better. Fortnite will die pretty soon - it has no depth.
