Android user here with airpods. I first bought the samsung wireless earphones but they were to big for my ear  

Then i decided to buy the airpods and even though that not all features work it's still amazing. Perfect for going to the gym, they never felt out of my ears AND a long battery life. 5 min charging up is almost enough.

personally I really like them, I've used them for working out and just being about. They have a long battery life and charge really fast. I will say though the audio quality isn't that much different than the regular $18 wired apple earbuds. If you do plan on buying them wait for the airpods 2 they're coming out sometime this year

For an iPhone, go for airpods. It is one of the best (if not THE best) headset.
