Logitech changed their procedure again and this time it applies to all of their products.

 

I did a bit of investigation and found out that they would be asking from now on from what retailer you purchased the product..

If you reply with like a "Local retailer/webstore" they will say: "You will need to contact the retailer for the warranty, so show them the message we send you etc.. if they refuse to support reply back to us.."It's like a 50/50 if they help you with it.. its a bit hard!

 

If you reply with Amazon, Newegg and all of these they will say they need a Proof of Purchase - VAT INVOICE which they will validate it with the company.. Seems that Logitech is saturated about all of these SE's..

 

If any of you is having a hard time bypassing/failing because of it you can BS them and tell them something like:

"I talked to the web-store/local retailer on the phone, they told me they have a 6 month warranty and it expired and they can't assist me anymore, they told me to contact Logitech about it"

I'm not too sure if this will work tbh, I think it all depends on product value, I se'd a product which isnt too expensive and passed ez pz with amazon reciept, got the product on Wednesday.

threw out the whole case i just acted retarded and sent 3 different styles of receipt and then said "my dad helped me find this is it correct" and he believed it  B)

What happened to me is: 1st rep Gerardo 50min call, i keep on telling the guy that my store basically told me that their part of warranty expired and now only the company can help me but he keeps replying with:"no no sir they have to give u the warranty its their obligation thats how it works." Then i would tell him that they are a small local sketchy store and make up some other bullshit and then i basically say the first thing again to which he replies the same thing before and so on for like 30minutes until he gave up and basically said this:m75252bJel6FU.png

I can confirm that sometime they will as to go to the store. but you can always say something like " I'm actually working in another city, therefore in order to reach the original retailer I have to go back to my hometown".
