Why Javascript instead of Java itself, :P

MCPE Mods require JavaScript, so that's what I learned. Now I use JavaScript for Node.JS applications. I personally do not like Java and I'm not going to learn it unless if I have a job opening for it...

I think making the minecraft plugins or mods for pc is way cooler, but thats my opinion tho. But sounds good :)

Of course, it is. At the time I didn't have a PC, Minecraft or an internet connection so I settled with MCPE...

U should give it a try :P

Java can be good for other thing than jobs and stuff like that. Programs for yourself if you like shortcuts for an example :)

i havent learned yet but really want to learn it :/

Just do it!

The way to go is usually just checking out courses and trying on your own so it won't all go out your head after an hour =]

I recommend studying to a level you can do some kind of small project, then flying off to what you need in order to complete your project! (googling, stackoverflowing, going back to some courses for specific lessons and etc)
