This is the story of server start, this story isn't written by me, but i know it.

Previous server name  was United Chill

United Chill have a history, it was started by me and my best friend and we ended up hitting 12,000+ users and then we gave it a fresh restart and now we had 2,500+ users and we decided to move on to our irl lives and do something better so i ended up selling it

its name and its history it self attract users to the server, which is one of the main reason its growing.

The server: 

has a large number of inactive members.

was filled with members with a single persons invite link (often the way botted servers work)

is inactive as of right now.

I would understand if 20% of the members were inactive. That would make sense. But having 95% of users inactive and the only few active members being staff members leads me to think the server is staged. 

Care to explain how you managed to invite all that people from 1 single invite link? 
If they are not bots. What are they? They are inactive yet the number is extremely high (2000+ inactive members...? )

In my opinion, the fairest thing would be, I give him $ 40 back leave the server to him, i will lose alot of money, but what can i  do. If i give him 60$ back I will get virtually nothing, I will need to redo everything, I don't know what he did with roles, with channels if he leaves an account with Admin perms and then kick everyone?
