I read another post a long time ago, they said that ASUS checks the box inside

Make sure you've filled the box with stuff that amount to the correct weight of the what would be product.

 

This is so just in case they do check - a conclusion can be formed that the box has been intercepted.

I'm a amateur at this, what can I put to mimic a GTX 1080 graphics card

Best thing to use is dry ice. You match the weight of the graphics card with dry ice and it disintegrates into the air by the time it gets there. Make the box look beat up a bit with tape ontop of cut tape to make it look like someone interfered and stole the graphics card and taped it back up.
