Which of the 3 is the best for online training?
Lynda, Udemy or EDX?

Lynda is supposedly 'made' for commercial purposes, like business training or educational institutions, etc. so it's supposed to be good, but quite frankly I found the exact same street-shitting quality as any other indian on youtube.
Udemy is made by just some average dude on the internet. Depending on the course, it can really be hit or miss. You can judge the quality by looking at the review and trying to filter out the proportion of indian reviews versus people who don't smell like curry.
EdX is probably the best, since it's made by actual professors and can act as its own educational institution, but it's extremely limited in the courses offered, so you're likely not going to learn anything more than introductory C, some javascript, Scala, Java, Python and maybe C++ and Clojure.
But to tell you the truth, none of them matter.
You're the only person who decides how you learn best. Maybe you like video guides, sure. As long as you're not using Youtube, a well-rated Udemy course or EdX course will satisfy this. But a combination of books will always outweigh what you can learn from these sorts of courses. So it's probably better to invest in a few of those. Also remember you can always learn just by looking at people's source and trying to make out what exactly it does.

@tfc20161010 I code in many languages and I never learn by these weird websites.
I tested them a bit but the point is, they not cover the whole language, this means that you would have some weeks.
I recommand you to first learn on these websites if it's your choice, but please, cover the whole reference manual after this, to have a better understanding of the language.

@EnergySaver thanks for the input. I am just looking for somewhere I could learn new technologies. I did some assembly language before but now I was stuck as backend and full stack developer.
