Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s.

 

The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address.

 

There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot.

I still don't get it, why people say it looks like a scam bla-bla-bla ... a scam is when someone asks you for money in exchange for something.

in this case all they ask is for the database, just an email address - it doesn't even have to be your daily use one. 

Like any possible future service, they need db to settle their service on, the trusting pool. 

 

I couldn't care less about my reference link, because the service to work you need an approval from the person who invited you. @TNFx - does it really have to be a shady thing all the time?

I don't believe it's a scam because there's nothing you can get scammed for, they don't ask for money or cc details or whatever, they only want you to bring as many people as you can in-exchange they reserve Q's for you, 

 

Their ultimate vision is in 2021-2022 one Q will equal 1$, so you'll make tons of money if that worked and if not, you have nothing to lose.
