Edit: I literally did this about 20 minutes ago and got a 12 Month Xbox Live for free, but the Rep told me that it will take around 24 hours for the code to activate, if you get the same you can use this https://redeem.microsoft.com/ and if it tells you that it is not activated, then at least you know it is valid.

The word ty means in a very kindfull and not harmfull way to say "Thank You" The word Thank You is a word that is very much used in daily bases. Example when you are at the store to buy a rope and the casheir says "Have a nice day" and you say "Thank you  ". The next morning the casheir sees a guy have taken sucide... oke i'll stop here. I was bored :/

but you don't say to a cashier "ty", you say "thank you" or "thanks, have a good day"
