Is it still possible to SE a pixel 2? 

I've tried a couple times but no luck. (Google said they received an empty box)

Yes. Google now only sends replacements after examining the box. There are ways around it, but don't ask for me them because I don't know them

is this only for the pixel 2 or 3 as well

So, I have confirmed that boxing does not work on the Google Pixel 3 XL, so what else is there?
If you can't box them then it has to be some sort of advanced replacement this will cause a bill to come so you will need a drop.

Say something/anything about how your phone is not preforming well and you think that this has some sort of slow cpu. They should send an advanced replacement.
