Disallow selling cracked software on marketplace

Why is that a problem?

It's not that different from cracking accounts and selling them

account are from big name companys we  all profit from.  software are our fellow peers hardwork to help us out  they deserve to be compensated

I feel like cracked software should just be leaks not sold.

Realistically a cracked software has a limited working time frame anyways, and most people who offer them as re-sells don't offer support for them or late updates.

 

Now imo if you're cracking a software yourself and plan to release future updates then it's a hobby and you should just leak it or keep it for yourself.

 

P.S: I'm still against leaking cracked software from forum members. If someone made a program don't be a dick and crack it after you purchase it...

last two months, rules get changed all the time, and the mods dont even tell us when they change them, they change them order, they add one at the end, they edit the details of an existing one. i am looking at them every week now

Yeah an indication of this would be nice.

 

Also i'm against cracked software should be automatically free. Gunbot and others would've most likely never been released without someone realizing that they can profit from it. They would've had no incentive to release a software they worked hard to crack just for leechers to spam 'ty' on their thread.

 

Allowing and encouraging the sales of cracked programs will not only introduce a new market section that could eventually stand on its own, but it will also increase the value of the forum as more crackers are going to be incentivized to crack difficult or underprioritized programs to sell. And some of those programs they will leak for free just like you can drop a ton of free accs for likes and advertising of your sig.

 

Would you go through the trouble of cracking a hard program just for people to say you HAVE to share it for free or else you'll be banned? I'll keep my hardwork to myself tyvm. If they MUST be free, then it should also be easy enough for anyone to crack that program.

If you want to change something, you must first be the change. Start cracking for yourself (not leaking) any program that someone is selling to show the mods that their hard work wasn't hard.

I remember suggesting this to jokerart and duo to high abuse of soda I dont remember why I wanted that but if I am not wrong he removed it, so I wonder why it was removed as a rule later on
