Do you believe in synchronicity? [Interesting]

Hey everyone,

 

I'm not sure how many of you know about the term 'synchronicity' but since i've known about it i have started to notice it so much more in my day to day life and it's quite simply mind-blowing.

 

Here's a definition of it:

"Meaningful coincidence, although the events need not be exactly simultaneous in time"

 

A few example to make it easier to understand, maybe ask yourself these questions:

Have you been thinking about someone, family or friend, and then the phone rings and it’s them on the other end of the line?

 

Perhaps you have gone on holiday to some far flung shore or very quiet backwater foreign climb and bumped into someone you knew miles from anywhere?

Or you are thinking of someone you’ve not seen for a long while and decide to go out to somewhere new for a change like a different restaurant and low and behold you meet them? And you discover that they were thinking and doing the very same thing as you? (I know this one as it has happened to me!)

 

Here are a few of my recent personal experiences with it:

1. I remembered a song i hadn't heard in several years and started singing it in my head, a few hours i turn on the TV and what do you know? That same song is on a TV program.

2. Me and a few friends were chilling and one of them says "ah i forgot someone is supposed to be calling me today about something" and literally 2 seconds later his phone starts to ring.

3. I randomly checked the Facebook of a friend i hadn't spoken to in several years and then 30 minutes later they message me on checking how i am as they missed me too

So, has anyone else experienced things like this?

 

And if not try and spot them from now on, you'll start noticing more and more as time goes on!

I personally do not believe in synchronicity,

 

And that is because i believe that the universe works with chances. So there is a random chance for everything.

 

So i believe that trying to believe in something that will not help me go further with my life would be wasting of my time.

And if not try and spot them from now on, you'll start noticing more and more as time goes on!

This sentence along with the question is the reason that the term synchronicity exists.

If you try to find cases of synchronicity in your life and you expect them everytime it is possible that you create synchronicity without even it really happening.

I completely understand where you are coming from and thank you so much for your detailed opinion, it makes sense!

 

"I believe that the universe works with chances" - I think so too, i'll keep looking out for any coincidences that happen in life!

Have had some weird occurrences myself but they are most definitely only by chance
