No logitech checks boxes before sending replacements. Logitech is all about luck at this point, it just depends if you are able to convince your rep to send replacement first

But wouldn't another representative tell you the same thing?
New serial too. If they asked you to send it back it means either your address/ip/#/email/serial were already used - either that, or you stated a very unique problem and they want closer inspection.

That's not true, on more expensive items they ask for sendback everytime. (g933 g903 etc)

I did g933, g910, g903, powerplay and ue megaboom without any problems
You just need a good excuse and proof of purchase.
