I have refunded some microsoft surfacebooks 2 through paypal.
My surfacebook 2 has some dead pixel now.
Can I exchange it over the microsoft store now or will I get busted then??

Dont do it lol
Just buy the same one from another store
and when it arrives tell them it had dead pixel
keep new one and send old one back 
(preferably amazon)

Surface book 2 refunds works on reship addresses?

In my opinion you can´t get busted, but its risky af, so I can´t recommend to you these steps of refunding.

That makes no sense bro.
Think about it, of course their is a chance to get busted if you give them a stolen item back 
I thought about the same idea. Just order a new one and ship your old one back.
It is the easiest way to exchange the product without to get in trouble, but be carefull. Don't forget to backup the old one and don't forget to reset it
